Welcome to Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Houston! Our church has a rich history of serving the Independent Heights community and spreading the love of Jesus Christ. We have been an integral part of the Houston area for over 109 years, and our journey is filled with inspiring stories of faith, hope, and love.

The mission of Ebenezer UMC Houston is to equip families and Christians to serve God through the power of His excellence. We thrive to be excellent in worship, excellent in service to the community, and excellent in the Word of God.

OUR VISION

Ebenezer UMC - Houston will strive to fulfill the mandate from Jesus Christ, to make disciples by "bridging the gap" between the Church and the "least of these"; through excellence in worship; excellence in service to the community and the world; and excellence in Christian education.
